FAIRHAVEN — A unidentified man stabbed a jogger at Fort Phoenix Monday night, and made off with her iPod.
The victim, a 26-year-old woman, was at St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition as of early Tuesday morning.
The victim — who spoke to The Standard-Times — said that she did not get a good look at her attacker but that he "seemed young" and had a sweatshirt pulled over his head. The man came from behind the woman, stabbed her in the abdomen and tore her iPod arm-band off, she said.
Police told the victim that a man pulled a knife on someone last week on the bike path but there was no stabbing, she said.
