For the better part of the last decade, Apple has been releasing the top of the line gadgets for consumers to drool over. One of the first things that boosted Apple's earnings back in the day was the iPod. The little digital music player has come so far over the years and this year those that enjoy the compact size of the iPod will be able to see the sixth generation of the iPod Touch. Just like with any of the other devices that the company releases, Apple has not mentioned much about the iPod Touch 6G, yet.
Because of that, rumors and other speculation hits the web and takes off like wild fire thanks to the major social media outlets that you are connected to. The reports about the iPod Touch 6G have been online since last year when they first appeared and were talking about a possible release date of this fall. At this point, Apple has followed a specific path when it comes to devices and September or October is usually the target date.
Last September and October was a little tense as fans were expecting to see the new iPod Touch, but that was not the case. Instead, Apple chose to add the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 2 with not iPod Touch 6G in sight. At this point, it is not easy to see what Apple has for a reason to keep the iPod Touch 6G out of the stores for now, but in the past, it has come down to demand and the supply of parts.
It could be that the company does not want to run into supply issues like it has in the past, but that has yet to be confirmed by Apple. at this point, there is a bunch of information that has come out or been leaked by various sources, so consumers are able to paint a picture of the new device. According to one source, there will be two models and a bunch of colors to choose from.
Apple fans like color, especially with the iPod Touch, so that is certainly going to work for them. The two models are apparently only going to be different in the size of the display. According to one source, the two models could be 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches in size in terms of the display. The colors that have been reported include yellow, red, silver, pink, space grey and blue. They will also come with 1GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal memory like other models of the iPod in the past.
