A 21-year-old woman was robbed of her cellphone and iPod while walking in Stoney Creek.
About midnight Tuesday, the woman was walking in the area of Lake Avenue and Barton Street when she was approached by two unknown men.
One grabbed her around the neck and covered her mouth with his hand while the second man removed items from her pockets.
The suspects stole a cellphone, an iPod 5 and cigarettes.
The men were last seen running westbound on Eastview Avenue from Lake Avenue.
One suspect is a white male, 6-foot-2, and about 200 pounds. He wore a red hoodie with the hood up and what could have been black writing on the front of it.
The second suspect is described as about 6 feet tall and wearing dark clothing.
The 21-year-old victim did not sustain any injuries.
