[prMac.com] Delhi, India – New Delhi, India – App Street Software today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Cam X 1.0, their new photography app for iPhone and iPod touch. Designed for both novices and professional photographers alike, Cam X aims to revolutionise mobile photography with real-time photo and video effects. Novices are in for a treat as they get to shoot like the experts. By taking advantage of a number of great features, the app enables them to preview real time effects right on the camera, so they know how their photos will look even before they snap them.
There are 99 real time photo and video filters available within the app and choosing a filter is extremely easy. Cam X offers 8 essential filters and 10 additional packs of 9 filters each, so the possibilities are endless. A simple swipe anywhere on the screen is all it takes to change a filter. Users can access the full mode filters gallery to quickly jump between different categories and preview all the filters at once. Cam X takes it up a notch by remembering a user’s favorite and recently used filters, enabling them to jump to these filters effortlessly.
Separate focus and exposure rings, focus and exposure lock, grid lines, horizon level, video stabilizer, and low light boost are some of the advanced yet easy to use camera controls available in Cam X. With the integrated library that this app features, users don’t have to import photos individually as all the photos are automatically saved to their library. They only have to tap the photo they want to edit and swipe to enhance it with their favorite filters. There is also an option to save the original photo, which can be edited later.

Apart from photos, users can record short 15-second video segments in HD and also apply different filters for each segment.
Users can quick fix photos using soft focus, crop, rotate and flip. They can add tilt shift lens effect with horizontal and vertical blurring or add depth to the photo using radial blur. They can customize the focusing using pinch and pan gestures. Single or multiple photos or videos can be shared with everyone through email or messages or Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter at once.
